Mr. Herman R. McCollum, Jr. age 77, of Emerson, passed away March 3, 2014. He was a retired Firefighter with Cobb County Fire Department with 25 years of service and was a Mason with the Acworth Masonic Lodge #176 F&AM.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Hilda McCollum; Son, Ronnie McCollum; sisters, Evelyn Woody, Annie Malcolm, Pat Couch, Sarah O’Brian; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 6 at 2 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with interment to follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 4 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
