Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife Nancy Ann Stone Robertson, parents Lois and Fred Robertson, Sr., brother Jack Robertson, sister Gail Lu, and brother Ben Robertson. He is survived by his daughters Melissa Robertson Luckey and Laura Robertson Supera, his son Eric Robertson, sons-in-law Marty Luckey and Leonard Supera, daughter-in-law Terje Juhe Robertson, grandchildren Rebecca Miles, Julianne Luckey, Stephen Luckey, Ian Robertson, and grandson-in-law Justin Miles, as well as great-grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces and extended family.
Fred retired from his Master Sergeant position in the Air National Guard, formerly with Dobbins Air Force Base. His creative pursuits and interests included poetry, literature and music appreciation, and he greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Fred was a Civil War historian, gathering a vast collection of related artifacts, items and collectibles, and provided historical perspectives and insights to many. In his later years, he took great interest in Western art and vintage cowboy memorabilia. Most of all, Fred is remembered by many for his fun-loving personality and sense of humor.
Fred will be laid to rest at the City Cemetery in Kennesaw, GA. A private memorial with family will take place Friday, January 8. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Way of Bartow County Coronavirus Response Fund.
