Frances S. Nizzari

Frances was of the Catholic faith that enjoyed cooking and baking, swimming, planting flowers in her garden, and crossword puzzles. She was also a seamstress in her spare time. The most important thing in the world to her was her family. She was frequently welcoming a new member of her large, loving family. Fran also loved her Border Collie “Lady”, who will miss her dearly.

Frances is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Louis Nizzari who she met in Harlem, NY. She is also survived by her five children Angelo Joseph Nizzari (Deneen), David Scott Nizzari (Tracey), Louis Frances Nizzari (Megan), Suzanne Pearson (Troy Sandlin), and Kelly Ann LaBounty (Gant Smith); 25 grandchildren, Adriana Nizzari, Alisia Nizzari, Alexandra Nizzari, Misty Bohannon, Amelia Smith, David Nizzari, Victoria Nizzari, Ashley Nizzari, Jacob Hewgley, Hunter Hewgley, Angela Hewgley, Alexis Mendez, Aleah Nizzari, Ayvah Nizzari, Avian Nizzari, Aston Nizzari, Avery Nizzari, Jaclyn Pearson, Danielle Pearson, Gianna Pearson, Christopher Thomas, Kirsten Thomas, Roland Smith, Ariana Smith, and Annleia Smith; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings Jackie Toia and Vincent Toia.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Gaetano and Mary Toia. As well as siblings, Peter Toia, Philip Toia, Frank Toia.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church on 6301 Cedarcrest Rd, Acworth, GA 30101. A visitation will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 N. Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152 from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024, and from 9-10 AM on Tuesday. The family will follow in procession from the funeral home to the church at 10:00 AM. Frances will be laid to rest at a later date.
