Donna Ann Balun

Donna Ann Balun, age 76, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Donna was born January 15, 1946, to the late Adam and Dorothy Gerlowski in Chicago, Illinois. Donna had impeccable taste, and she loved to shop and decorate. She was a social butterfly and loved to host and throw parties. The most important thing to Donna was her family, and she loved to spend every second she could with them. She was a giver, kind-hearted, and she would do anything for someone in need. Donna's favorite holiday was Christmas because she got to spoil her children and grandchildren with gifts. Donna will be loved and missed by anyone that had the honor to know her.

Donna is survived by her husband, Paul Balun; her son Scott Balun (Brooke); and her daughter Lesley Rogers (Tim); her grandchildren William Balun, Thaddeus Balun, Hannah Rogers, Emma Rogers, and Jacob Rogers.

A celebration of life for Donna will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A reception will be held after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the National Kidney Foundation in Donna's Name.
