Donald was born to the late Stephen and Cora Wright Weatherford on December 25th, 1928 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He grew up in Mountain Home, Arkansas where he would help his family on the farm, walking mules to the grocery store, and helping dad support the family. Later on, he decided to join the Army. During his deployment to Germany he found the loves of his life, Ms. Anneliese and Jurgen Weatherford. He knew from that moment on that his life was complete.
Donald was a Retired Army Veteran and took pride in his service to our country. Donald enjoyed sharing stories about his time in the service or his memories of growing up. Donald was a jokester! He loved to laugh and to make others laugh.
His memory will be cherished by Northside Primitive Baptist Church; and many extended family members, friends and neighbors.
Donald is preceded in death by his loving wife, Anneliese Weatherford; son, Jurgen Weatherford; parents, Stephen and Cora Weatherford.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00PM in the Chapel at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Elder Jason Solomon of Northside Primitive Baptist Church (Marietta, Georgia) officiating. Committal and burial will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
