I remember on the morning of Imani’s baptism, Dave was the bishopric rep for our ceremony.  I had arrived much earlier with my mom to begin setting up but also because of “mom syndrome “🤦🏽‍♀️ Dave appeared out of no where, early!  He rolled up his sleeves and jumped into action.  I remember my mom asking me how someone, who seemed almost as old as she was, could be so strong. He single handedly pulled out heavy tables, both round and rectangular and arranged them in the gym. ♥️ While the young and abled like myself were sweating through our mascara and foundation for handling chairs. 

I always remember Dave this way. Jumping into action to serve with love. He was part of OUR family that day. He is a great man and we love him. We love you and your family and continue to pray for you all.  As heaven rejoices in his arrival, his absence here will be felt. He will be surely missed.

I served with David in volunteer church capacities. His profound curiosity and outstanding listening abilities were something that stood out to me. He was really putting himself in others' shoes when he listened. It wasn't just a patience, but genuine interest and empathy. I was also there with him serving after hurricane damage in Louisiana and he talked about how, despite the absolute devastation and difficulty experienced by those affected, he loved how it brought us all together in purpose and energy. Peace and blessings to all of his loved ones missing him.

To the Milligan family, I love Dave. I worked with him at McDonald's. He was a great manager. It was a good day when u worked with Dave. So sorry for ur loss. He was a great man. Sending hugs and prayers. 

Dear Dee & Family, We love you all, & so sorry for your  loss.We know that Dave's spirit will always be there  with & for you, when you need it. I seldom write messages on memorial pages, but Dave played such a major role in my childhood and teen years. We had many family get togethers in my youth.  Dave and I are less than a year apart in age and he was the cousin I most gravitated towards.  The reason I loved Dave so much is that he was just so much fun to be around. He had a sense of humor that was unmatched from anyone else I knew.  I was planning on calling Dave, but I didn't want to bother him in his final days. I regret not reaching out to him earlier. My sincere condolences to Danean and Daves children. I miss you Dave!

I didn't know Dave personally, but I followed his journey on social media.  He was such a bright light in this world, a wonderful human being.  May God's everlasting comfort bring his family peace. 

Dave was always a smiling face and genuinely pleasant brother in Christ.  I am forever touched by his selfless service and optimism in all that I observed him to do.  Heaven gained a truly happy soul and it will be a better place for it.  Prayers and condolences for family and friends left behind until we all meet Dave again.




I love Dave.  What an amazing friend and example he has been over the last many years.  You could always count on Dave to be "in the trenches" working for the good of others and ready with a smile, handshake and hug.  A giant of a man in all ways, my most heartfelt condolences to his wonderful family.  He will be truly missed.

Service Saturday has never been the same since Dave left our ward. He made it so special and could always rally the troops. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
