Cody Lane Cantrell

Cody Lane Cantrell, age 30, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Cody was born June 4, 1992 to Amber and James Cantrell Jr. in Marietta, GA. Cody worked as an auto painter for Caliber Collision and was very proud of what he did. He enjoyed to hunt, play Xbox, and watch sports. Cody was a huge fan of UGA and the Atlanta Braves. He was a loving father and loved to spend time with his son and coach him on the football field. Cody loved cold beer and good food. Above all else Cody loved his family and looked up to his brother Garrett. Cody was a loving son, brother, father and friend. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Cody loved life but most of all he loved being a dad to Cooper.

Cody is survived by his son Cooper Lane Cantrell; his step mother Cathy Cantrell and his step father James McNeeley; his brother Garrett Allen Cantrell, his step brothers Bradley Rikard (Megan) and Brandon Bisch (Cassia); his grandparents Sue McAdams, Barbara McAdams, Judy Cantrell, and James Cantrell, his step grand parents John T. Demarest and Shirley Demarest, his aunts Tami Smith (Mike), and Trina Davis (Rhonda), his uncles Andy McAdams (Jennifer), and Jeff Cantrell (Jeanne) and his cousin Abigail McAdams, he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather Andrew Allen McAdams Sr..

A visitation for Cody will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A second visitation will occur Friday, August 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A memorial service will occur Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.

The family asks that you please dress in black or red, or in a UGA shirt to the service in honor of Cody.
