Bill H. Lummus, 67, of Powder Springs, died Monday, December 22, 2014. Memorial service is Saturday, 1pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. The family will begin receiving friends at 12pm.
Bill was an Army Veteran who served our country honorable in Vietnam. After his military tour, Bill was a self-employed General Contractor who enjoyed being his own boss. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Survivors include his wife – Sandra Lummus of Powder Springs; sons – Chris and wife Michelle Lummus of Hiram, Allen and wife Jerrica Lummus of Rockmart; daughters – Laurie Cummings of Alpharetta, Linda and husband Greg Kennedy of Acworth; brother – Sam Lummus of Stockbridge, There are also seven grandchildren who survive – Brittany, Katlyn, Ryan, Pierson, Bronson, Jayla, and Alaina.
Flowers that may be planted in memory of Bill are welcomed.
