Barbara Jean (Dempsey) Vance passed away peacefully on 04/19/2021 surrounded by family. Barbara was born September 29, 1937 in Kermit, West Virginia to Roy and Nitha Dempsey. She grew up with her older sister Anna Dempsey (Muncy). She married her husband, Donald Edward Vance Sr in 1963 and together they had three sons. Barbara enjoyed teaching, tennis, word searches, spending time with family and a good mystery novel or tv show in her free time.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister Annie, brother Billy, husband Don, and loving dog Nicky.
She is survived by her two loving sons, Don Vance Jr (Patricia Coelho), & Rob Vance (Katina) as well as 2 loving grandchildren Jason Vance and Cori Watkins (Robert) and 3 great grandchildren, Bently Watkins, Mickinley Watkins, and Emeline Grace Watkins.
