Mrs. McDonald was an independent person who enjoyed being a home body later in life. She had worked as an X-Ray Technician for several hospitals and doctor offices, but for Mt. Clemon's General Hospital the longest.
Mrs. McDonald was a beloved member of Central Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Butch and Geraldine Millikin; husband, James Anthony McDonald; and brother, Jack Millikin. She is survived by her sister, Judi Tarpley and her husband Frank of Canton; son, Michael "Mike" Lee Turner and his wife Laurie of Smyrna; granddaughters, Kalie O'Kelley and her husband Justin of Hiram, Elizabeth "Delanie" Turner of Valdosta, and Rhylie Turner of Smyrna; nephews, Jeff Millikin and his wife Jan of Stockbridge, Carey Millikin of Atlanta, Todd Tarpley and his wife Elaine of Acworth, and Terry Tarpley of Canton; niece, Sina Millikin of Peachtree City; and 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
Mrs. McDonald was cremated under the care of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.
