Of Buffalo, New York entered into rest peacefully on November 1, 2024, age 79. Beloved wife of the late Stephen M. Rivers. Loving mother of Anne Marie Rivers. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 Sisters. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Mark's Church, 401 Woodward Ave. Buffalo, NY 14214. Please assemble at church. Rita was a retired nurse from the VA Hospital of Buffalo, active parishioner of St. Mark Church and the St. Mark & St. Rose Young at Heart Group.
