Karen H. Keaton (81 years), wife of 56 years to the Rev. Ronald Keaton (deceased), and mother to Mark Keaton (deceased), Paul Keaton (Rozlyn Rader), and Rebekah Keaton (Terrance Peterson) passed away on September 22, 2024.
She was born in Ethel, West Virginia, the daughter of Joseph and Avonelle Hager, and sister of Priscilla Whitlock (John, deceased) and Joseph Hager (Terra). She will be remembered for her lifelong commitment to social justice and her service to the church, including working with the youth and serving as a deacon and elder for many years. Above all, she will be remembered for her love of family, especially for her grandchildren Adriana (Jeremy Mills), Adam, and Emily Keaton, and Maxwell and Henry Peterson, and her great grandchildren Odin and Frances Mills.
A memorial service will be held September 29 at 2:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 724 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, New York.
