Eulan moved to Dallas were he got his first job at the now historic Murray Gin Company. He later went to work for Cain furniture where with experience from there he was able to open his own furniture store. He later opened the Southern Club on Military Parkway in Dallas. In 1967 Eulan started doing what he was known for...shoeing horses. For 43 years he shoed horses all over Kaufman, Dallas, Henderson, Van Zant, and other counties. In 1988 he established G and J Auction. He loved playing in junk, going to junk sales, auctions and being an auctioneer. Eulan enjoyed gardening where he grew nice produce to give to his friends and neighbors.
Eulan was Baptist by faith and was a member of Pleasant Grove Riding Club, Kemp Riding Club, Swinging 16, Kaufman Co. Sheriff's Posse and Auctioneer Association.
He was a extraordinary man that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Eulan was preceded in death by his: parents; wife Ava Nell Jones; sister Floydell Jones; brothers: Lewis Jones; Bill Jones and Waylon Jones; stepdaughter Cheryl Hinds and son-in-law Jerry Thompson.
He is survived by his: daughter Pam Jones of Kemp; grandson Brandon Greenhaw and Brandi of Kemp; son Mike Rankin and Sharon of Kemp; daughter Debbie Thompson of Kemp; son Bobby Stark and Alison of Kaufman; grandchildren: Kim Minzenmayer of Kemp; Jeremy Thompson and Mickie of Kaufman; Mikie Rankin of Kemp; Parker Rankin of Kemp; Michelle Markham of Kemp; Terra Cvellar of Kemp, Matt Hinds of Port Lavaca; Holly Hinds of Kemp; Aaron Stark of Kemp; Casey Stark of Kemp; sisters-in-laws: Trudy Sweeney of Dallas' Jackie Sweeney of Rockwall and Judy Riggs of Macomb, OK; a host of: great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; friends and neighbors.
