Emmitt was a member of Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church. He was a Mud-engineer for IMCO for 8 years and worked as a driller in the oilfield for Gulf Oil and Champlin Petroleum for 15 years until retirement. Emmitt was a very special person who touched many lives and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
Emmitt is preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Jewel Booher; Nell Kirkpatrick; June Crabtree and Jan White.
He is survived by; his loving wife Peggy Booher of Kemp; son John Booher and spouse Carren of McKinney; sister Kim Mitchell and spouse Andy of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren: Emmitt Booher of Indiana; Daniel Booher of Temple; Jacob Booher of Denton; Rebecca Booher of Commerce; Paige Mitchell of Tuscon, AZ; Meagan Mitchell of Scottsdale, AZ; brother Dan Booher of Smithville, TX; sister Jonalene Breeze of Kemp, TX; sister Jean Matthews of Wichita, KS; numerous nieces; nephews; other loving family members and many more friends.
