Susie leaves to mourn her son Michael Schmidt, family members Judy and Ken Glabb, Jesse and Jori Glabb, Mona Biro, Jason, Brian and Lukas Biro.
Also left to mourn her loss are special friends Melinda Peckham, Karen Harris and Michael's care giver Jay Morgan.
Susie was the most caring, loving, imaginative mother, daughter, auntie, sister and friend, that we were blessed to share our lives with.
She had a very unique way of putting her special touch on everything she did. She wore many crowns...
Susie was the "Disco Queen" and loved her crazy disco music. Her and I would giggle when she sang the song, Turn the Beat Around.... it was the day we both realized she wasn't meant to be a singer.
She wore the crown of "Dancing Queen" proudly because she could dance like it was nobody’s business.
She wore the crown of "Laughing Queen" with her contagious laughter. She could change your sad mood into happiness in no time.
She wore the crown of Mother, as she loved her son Michael with fierce abandon.
She wore the crown of Daughter, whom her Mom and Dad were so very proud of.
She wore the crown of Sister, whom we got to know really well, and learned of the struggles that she suffered.
The most precious crown she wore was Auntie. She loved being an Auntie.
She was the best at celebrating birthdays and holidays. She would actually pre shop all year long, finding the perfect gift for the special people in her life. She spent countless hours preparing for birthdays, scavenger hunts, Easter egg hunts, and Christmas. It was always an extravaganza when Auntie Susie was involved. She always giggled like a school girl, when it came time to unwrap her special gifts. Giggling under her breath, knowing that the 10 elaborate boxes wrapped in paper only contained a small gift. The gift was the immense love she had for us. Susie always provided us with love, laughs and insight. Her resilience and positivity were so inspiring, and those that were lucky enough to know her, got to experience what a beautiful soul she was. Thank you Susie for gracing your life with ours. We love you so very much and you will be greatly missed.
Susie will be cremated and there will be no service, as those were her wishes. On the wings of an Angel you will fly.....
