Nick Jar

JAR: Nick (Mikoli). It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Nick. Nick will be forever missed by his family and many friends. He leaves behind daughters Claudia and Lydia (Chester), son Walter (Leah), seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Nick was predeceased by his wife Ludmilla, four sons Paul, Alex, David and Nick.

Nick immigrated to Canada after the war with his wife and two girls. He moved to Sudbury where he worked in the Nickle Mines for several years. As his family grew they moved and Nick worked at Goodyear until his retirement which led him to Kelowna. Nick’s passion was gardening until his passing.

Viewing will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, followed by the Funeral Service on Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services. Nick will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
