Ken Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Johnson on July 5, 2021 after an incredibly brave and hard fought battle with heart failure. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 39 years Alison, a heartbroken family, brother in law Bob (Waltraud), loving niece Jennifer, and nephew Allan (Karli), brother Dwain (Linda) and family, other extended family and many wonderful friends. He will now join other beloved family that have sadly left us. Ken proudly retired from a career he loved at SD 23 where he made many amazing friends and memories. He was so grateful for everyday and cherished every minute of his retirement. We will miss him every single day, we are so proud of how he endured these last few months, he was very much loved and adored by anyone who knew him. Our family will return Ken to his beloved Banff Alberta at a later date. No service at Ken’s request.
