It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Judy Lewis on March 30th, 2023 in Kelowna, B.C. Judy was born in 1952 to June and Bob Kring, and spent most of her childhood in White Rock, B.C., graduating from Semiahmoo High School in 1970. Judy was married to her high school sweetheart, Craig Lewis in 1972, and their daughter Emily was born in 1978. Their young family moved to the Southern Interior in 1979, to put down roots in Kelowna. Craig and Judy had a second child, Graham (Grim) in 1986, and our family was complete. Judy worked in banking and in various positions within the Provincial Government, finally settling into a role with the Ministry of Children and Families where she stayed till retirement in 2012. Judy leaves behind many brothers, sisters, grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her. Judy’s passing leaves a large now-unfilled space in many social circles, as she never turned down a chance for a cold drink and a good laugh.
In lieu of flowers, donations to any cause you deem worthwhile would be greatly appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held June 17th at 1pm in the Sunrise Village clubhouse located at 1255 Raymer Ave, Kelowna B.C
