We are deeply saddened by the loss of our loving mother, Leona Klein on July 13, 2016, aged 91.
She enjoyed many years of good health and happiness with a decline in lifestyle only over the past four years.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2001 and is mourned by her two daughters, Gayle Dodd (Bruce) of Kelowna and Robin Wickson (Jim) of Calgary, her two sons Ken of Kamloops and Jeff (Mae) of Wabasca, Alberta, as well as her 11 grandchildren Jennifer, Heather, James, Lindsay, Andrew, Bryan, Chloe, Summer, Carolyn, Justin and Melody, 9 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She began her life in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, marrying then living on Vancouver Island during the war as Paul was a pilot in the RCAF. They moved to Saskatoon after the war eventually living in New Westminster, Montreal, Waterloo, and Windsor, retiring ultimately to Kelowna.
She loved being a mother and devoted her life to raising her children. Antiques were a favourite and she acquired many interesting pieces over her lifetime.
A celebration of life with family and friends will take place at a date to be announced later. She will be sadly missed.
