On Monday Feb. 9 Clifford Wallace James Bailey passed away peacefully from this life to the next. He is survived by his wife Jessie; Daughters Janice (George) Adomavicius and Colleen (Wayne) Camplin; Sons: David (Sarah) Bailey and Craig (Nancy) Bailey; Daughter-in-Laws Sarah Bailey, Nancy Bailey, and Judy Bailey; Son-in -Laws George Adomavicius and Wayne Camplin; Grandchildren Scott (Kimberly) Bailey, Lee-Ann Bailey, Jason (Tiffany) Bailey, Darren (Consuel) Camplin, Rose-Lynn (Charlie) Plake, Kyle (Allison) Adomavicius, Gia Adomavicius, Christian Bailey; Great-Grandchildren: Kennedy and Liberty Bailey, Jaxson Bailey, London and Presley Plake; Sister, Gail Provencher and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Edith Bailey, brother George and sister Cora.
Cliff was in the Canadian Navy for 6 years and then employed by Canadian Pacific Transport/Express for 46 and a half years. He retired in beautiful Kelowna where he lived for 27 years. He and his beloved wife Jessie celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary on Jan. 21.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 11 am. The service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna BC. In memory of Clifford Bailey, donations can be made to Kelowna General Hospital Foundations with a request that it go to the Cottonwoods Extended Care General Fund.
