He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Veronica “Roni”; his son, Alec; father, William Langridge; sister, Cindy (Mark) DiMatteo; brother, Bill Langridge; and cousin, Craig Solgan. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Langridge, and his Uncle Bob and Aunt Sue Solgan.
Bob graduated from Grand Valley State College, where he earned a Bachelors of International Economics and Marketing degree in 1981. Bob then went on to work for Stiles Machinery for 38 years where he retired as Regional Director. Among his well earned accomplishments, he took pride in helping others succeed and was one that many came to for advice.
Bob loved traveling, home renovation projects (no project was too big), boating, beaches, working in the yard, smoking/grilling his famous wings and ribs, and enjoying life with his friends and family on the lake, in the pool or by the ocean. Bob also enjoyed visiting breweries and supporting his two favorite sports teams, the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions.
