

Richard Allen Wilson Jr. of Seattle, WA passed away peacefully on the 1st of April, 2025 in Dallas, Texas, with his family by his side after over a year’s battle with cancer. He was born on December 28, 1954, in Seattle, King County, Washington, to Ellenore P. Hanson and Richard A. Wilson. Richard is survived by his wife Leticia G. Wilson, his sons Shane R. Wilson, and Brandon A. Wilson, his sisters Christine Metcalfe and Kathy Rodriguez, his nieces Anna Metcalfe and Allison Metcalfe, and his nephew Christopher Rodriguez. He is also survived by his cousins Wayne Seeburg, Nadine Dawson and Burt Dawson, and all children from his cousins.
Richard was 70 years old and was married for almost 32 years, he had a wonderful life and two wonderful sons. Richard touched many hearts and will be deeply missed by family and friends. He always offered his help to anyone that was in need. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, cousin and friend, to all that knew him and loved him.
For Richard, fishing was one of his passions teaching his sons Brandon and Shane to fish from an early age. He also loved improvising while cooking, trying new dishes and spices, his favorite dishes to cook was the Thanksgiving turkey and green bean casserole during the holidays. He loved dancing, skiing, and playing board games with his kids, family, and friends. He enjoyed family vacations and being at the beach with those he loved.
