Michael Collins Miller went home on October 13, 2018. He was 78 years old. Michael was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1939. He graduated from Oklahoma University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. In his 20's, he left Oklahoma City to pursue a career as a land man. He was in the army in the 1960's and was very active in his church when he lived in Louisiana. He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Michael was in the Rotary Club and served on the board of Artist Civic Theater and Studio (ACTS). He loved to spend time with his family, read, collect pens, and laugh. Michael was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Michael Collins Miller is preceded in death by his fathers, Herbert Dale Collins and Willard L. Miller, mother, Dorothy Brandle Miller; two sisters, Marlene Kearley and Barbara Creager. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Miller; daughter, Laura Miller Drews, son-in-law, Brian Drews, grandchildren, Kylie Drews, Kourtney Drews, Zachary Drews of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces, Martha Creager Barnes of Bellaire, Texas, Ruth Kearley Lui of Madison, Wisconsin, Katherine Kearley Beck of Corpus Christi, Texas, Barbara Kearley Cadle of University Park, Washington; nephews, Bill Creager of Princeton, New Jersey, and James Kearley of Houston, Texas; step son, Patrick LaCroix of Davenport, Florida, step daughter, Kelly LaCroix Freeland of Folsom, California, and numerous other relatives.
Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Friday, October 26, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248. Graveside Service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
