Linda was born in Boise, Idaho on October 1, 1943 to Annabel and Lester Allen. She had three siblings, the late Judy Strain (nee Allen), the late Robert Allen and Ronald Allen.
Linda was mother to Kenneth Hertzog and Deborah Balmos (nee Hertzog). She raised her children in Graham, Washington with her late husband William Albert Hertzog.
Linda had many careers. She was a mother, a tavern owner and a travel agent among other things. She was a loving and giving person. There was nothing she liked better than helping a friend in need and she made friends wherever she went. She loved flowers, sunshine and watching old westerns.
She is survived by her brother Ron, her son Kenneth, her daughter Debbie, her granddaughter Allysa, her daughter-in-law Yoko, her son-in-law Douglas and her many friends in both Washington and Texas.
Linda did not wish to have a formal service, but a small ceremony will be held in Texas and Washington in the coming months.
