On Wednesday April 8th, 2020, Anthony James, “Tony” Peck, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 70, with his loving family by his side. Tony was born on January 30, 1950 in Dos Palos, CA to Clarence Howard Peck and Estella Maria Sirianni Peck.
Tony served his country in the US Army, and he attended Abilene Christian College. Later, he bravely served as a firefighter for the City of Dallas Fire Department for 33 years, where he achieved the officer’s rank of Lieutenant. On November 12, 1987 he married his wife Lorraine, and together they raised their children: Kathryn, Elizabeth, David, and Lauren. Tony was a loving husband and father, a patriot, and hero, a servant to his community, and most importantly he was a true servant of the Lord. He was highly intelligent, but known for his integrity and humble, virtuous demeanor. He was very kind, compassionate, generous, and he was highly admired and respected by the many who knew him. Tony was a faithful Christian, he prayed daily and was very forgiving to all. Tony had a passion for gun collecting, and was an enthusiastic member of the NRA. He loved to read western and science fiction novels and had a large collection of books. He loved camping, the outdoors, and RV trips with his family. Tony lived his whole life, and raised his family in Northeast Texas. He was deeply religious and was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lorraine Peck, his four children: Kathryn, Elizabeth, David, and Lauren, and his two older brothers Mike and Pat. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Maria, and his younger brother Jack. Tony is deeply cherished and loved by his wife and children, and he will be forever missed.
A Public Memorial Service will be held at a later date once all restrictions have been lifted.
