Timothy A. Smith

He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on June 23, 1960 the son of Richard and Avis (Neal) Smith.

Tim was a lifelong resident of Keene and was a Keene High School graduate class of 1978. He was employed as a manager at Rymes Propane in Claremont for sixteen years.

Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his new granddaughter Raelyn. He was skilled at many things and loved to spend time tinkering in his new garage. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a sports fan and supported the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was an excellent dancer and loved to go dancing with his loving wife Debra.

He was a member of the Keene Lodge of Elks #927, the Gordon Bissell Post 4 American Legion and the Italian Club in Keene.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Debra J. (Main) Smith, a daughter Nina J. Mooney and her husband Kirk of Marlborough, NH; a sister freddie Martinez and her companion John Reed of Keene, two brothers; Richard J. Smith and his wife Earline of Westmoreland, NH and Michael Smith and his wife Laurie of Central Village, CT; his aunt, Helen Wilson of Keene, his granddaughter Raelyn Mooney of Marlborough, NH, and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, his brother, William “Billy” Smith and his son Nicholas A. Smith died earlier.

Funeral services will be held in the Monadnock Covenant Church, 90 Base Hill Road, Keene, NH on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Richard Wallace will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at the Island Cemetery in Harrisville, NH. Family and friends are invited to call at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
