Judith Brown Buffum

Judith (Brown) Buffum, 76 of Swanzey, NH passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. She was born in Providence, RI on June 28, 1941; the daughter of the late Clinton and Ruth (Davis) Brown.

Judith was a lifelong area resident. She was employed at Smiths Medical before her retirement. She enjoyed riding horses, traveling with her husband, and attending the dirt track races. She held a special place in her heart for animals, mostly her dogs.

She is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Bernie Morse.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank Buffum of Swanzey; a son, Frank Buffum, Jr. of Surry, NH; four daughters, Carolyn Buffum of Charlestown, NH, Lisa Buffum and her partner Dan Gordon of Keene, Laura George and her husband Michael of Pownal, VT and Kelly Watson of Troy; two brothers, Russell Brown and his wife Gloria of S. Hadley, MA and Ralph Brown and his wife Patricia of NH; a sister, Joanne Morse of Keene; six grandchildren, Dennis and Cassie Lang, Eric and Shannon Watson, Jessica Burns and Reagan Buffum; as well as several great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. The FLECTHER FUNERL HOME, KEENE, NH is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 W Swanzey Rd, Swanzey, NH 03446.
