Elaine Bocchino, 83, a resident of Keene passed away surrounded by her loving family at Bentley Commons in Keene NH on May 28th 2018, following a short period of declining health. Her parents Homer and Irene LaBelle proudly welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world on August 28, 1934 in Holyoke Massachusetts. Nineteen years later she met the love of her life, William Francis Bocchino, in Springfield MA. They were married on November 14th 1954; he preceded her in death February 29th 2016. They made their home in Longmeadow, MA where Elaine devoted her time to raising their two children.
Elaine, to all who knew her, was a special lady. She was quick to share a smile, generous with her hugs and touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a mischievous side, always up for some fun and a good laugh and enjoyed life’s simple pleasures; reading a good book, an annual trip to Ogunquit, Maine to celebrate her wedding anniversary and enjoy a walk on Marginal Way with Bill, coffee with friends and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Elaine will be greatly missed by her son William Bocchino and his wife Vicki of Florida and her daughter Lori Siano and her husband John of Alstead NH, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her many friends at Bentley Commons.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Emery LaBelle of Holyoke, MA.
