Barbara A. “Bobbie” Cavanaugh 63, of Barefoot Bay, Florida and a former longtime resident of West Chesterfield and Spofford, NH, died April 10, 2012 at the Indian River Center in West Melbourne, Florida.
She was born in Amsterdam, New York, December 24, 1948, the daughter of William H. and Sophie “Sue” (Trufyn) Considine. As a child, she traveled and resided world-wide while her father served in the United States Air Force.
Mrs. Cavanaugh attended the University of New Hampshire where she earned her paralegal certificate and later worked as a paralegal for 15 years with Frank Hopkins and Harry Lichman, Esq.
She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church in Keene. She enjoyed crafts ceramics, photography and most of all spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, David A. Cavanaugh of Barefoot Bay, two sons; Sean P. Cavanaugh and his wife, Sarah, of Troy, NH, Brendan W. Cavanaugh and his wife, Corey, of Clovis, New Mexico, four grandchildren; Liam R. Cavanaugh, Payton E. Cavanaugh and twins, Kylie and Kailey Cavanaugh. She is also survived by a brother, William Considine of Saratoga Springs, New York, two sisters; Kathy Russell of Queensbury, New York, Patti Tinnirella of Ballston Spa, New York, niece’s Sarah Russell, Queensbury, New York, Jennifer Paul, Watertown, Massachusetts and nephew’s John David Paul, Watertown, Massachusetts, Brian Cavanaugh, Birmingham, Alabama and Ryan Considine of Saratoga Springs. She was predeceased by a nephew, Eric Tinnirella.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St. Margaret Mary Church, 33 Arch Street, Keene, NH. Burial will follow in the Freidsam Cemetery, Route 63, Chesterfield, NH. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene.
