Born May 11, 1918 in Keene to Harold and Annabelle “Nancy” (Forsyth) Kendall, she was a 1936 graduate of Keene High School.
Ada had been employed with Faulkner and Colony Manufacturing Co., Doerr Woolen Mill, MBP, Yankee Publishing, Bradlees Department Store, and ultimately retiring at the age of 94 from Peoples United Bank (formerly Granite Bank).
She enjoyed her gardens around her home and her daily interactions with her regular customers at the bank. She was also easily recognized around town, peering through the steering wheel of her big black truck or big green Buick.
Ada is survived by her sister: Isabel K. Lane of Chesterfield; four nephews: Howard B. Lane, Jr., and his wife, Elaine of Chesterfield, Kendall W. Lane and his wife, Molly of Keene, James M. Kendall and his wife Sharon l of Vero Beach, FL and Douglas L. Kendall of Keene; and her friend, Tammy Kenyon of Keene.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter B. Parker in 1981 and a brother, Harold J. Kendall.
At Ada’s request, there will be no public calling hours. Inurnment will be held in Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
