Margaret Cordoba, of Pontiac Michigan, passed away on November 13, 2018 at the age of 75. She was born in Lorain Ohio to her loving parents Francisco Alvarez-Garcia and Dominga Liscano-Negrete. She graduated from Lorain High School before moving to Mexico with her parents. It was there she met her beloved husband Rafael Cordoba and the two were wed. She worked for the company TELMEX for a number of years before retiring. After moving to Michigan with her family she joined the St. Damien of Molokai Paris Catholic Church. She was a skilled knitter and she was known for her delicious baked goods. Those who knew her would describe her as a loving, caring, and selfless person who was always ready to help out anyone in need.
She leaves behind her cherished husband and her children Francisco Cordoba, Rafael Cordoba Jr., Gerardo Cordoba, Margarita Cordoba. Her grandchildren Alejandro Cordoba, Martin Cordoba, Diego Cordoba-Ortega, Brandon Monje-Cordoba, Adrian Monje-Cordoba, Christopher Monje-Cordoba, and Eduardo Cordoba. She also leaves behind her sister Angela Alvarez.
Services will be held at Family Funeral Care located at 2904 Orchard Lake Rd. Keego Harbor, MI 48320. Visitation will take place on November 16, 2018 beginning at 3PM lasting till 8PM. Her funeral service will be held at 4:30PM on November 16, 2018.
