Frances O. Lange

Frances O. Lange, age 84, of Waterford; passed away May 7, 2012 of natural causes. Frances was an educator for 35 years in the Detroit Public Schools. She taught Science and later served as a principal for many years. After retiring, she and her husband Dick, who shared a love of Northern Michigan, relocated to the Traverse City area. They enjoyed the Traverse City area for over fifteen years, then returned to the Waterford area in 2009. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Richard Sr., mother of Richard Jr. (Donna) Lange, Robert (Jacqueline) Lange, William (Deane) Lange, proud grandmother of Heather (Mike), Robert Jr, Alexander, Jennifer, Sara; great-grandmother of Ella and Lucca; caring sister of the late Charles. Memorial Service 12 Noon Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Pixley Funeral Home Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel, 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor. The family will welcome friends Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Waterford Township Public Library.
