Vivian Elain Clarkson, was born on December 8th, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank and Barbara Clarkson in Louisville, Kentucky and departed this world on 21 November 2020 in Houston, Texas and is now reunited with her Mom and Dad and brother Leon, sister Melba, and Diane. Vivian was a great fan of the University of Louisville basketball team and the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. She made it a life habit to know each player on the teams and their stats and how well they where playing in a game.
Along with her sisters and brothers she enjoyed going to amusement parts, wrestling event, playing checkers, cards (spades), and playing jokes on family members. Vivian had a strong passion for BINGO and traveling across the United States, she was able to visit eight states and wanted to see more.
She was raised a catholic and was a religious person going into her transition into heaven. Vivian graduated from Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky and was a member of the US Peace Corps. Along with her sister Melba, she had a passion for knitting and creating beautiful blankets that where a work of art.
Vivian was a quite and loving person and spoke when she needed to, she was always thinking about things and keeping the peace and love about her. She had a heart of gold and will be missed dearly. Her passing was unexpected, but we know that God wanted her back and that her sudden illness was a sign from God that it was time for her to come home to him. We will miss her pickiness when it comes to eating and her desire to never miss a Steelers game of a Cardinal game. We love you Vivian and hug Mom, Dad, Leon, Melba, and Diane for us.
