Richard was one of the first customers I met in March of 1978 when I purchased Katy Hardware.  We became instant friends and I was privileged to get to work with Richard later for over ten years when I was the parish maintenance administrator for Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.  It is going to be a difficult adjustment to realize that he is no longer just a phone call away.
My thoughts & prayers are with his family.  He was an all around good guy.

Sue, Coach Richard and family,  It is with deep sadness that we learn of your great loss.  We have nothing but admiration and wonderful fond memories of Richard during the years John played ball with Mike in little league.  His commitment to his family was exceptional and he was a role model for many of men. I did not get the pleasure to meet Richard, but I have heard many great stories of the life he lived and how loved he was and always will be. Uncle Richard, I miss u so much already. Things just aren't the same without you. You have always accepted my flaws & mistakes. You encouraged me through my education & expressed how proud of me afterwards. I will never forget my big bad uncle taken care of the woman @ my wedding venue. I luv u & will miss you're caring humor.  Kimberly, you're crazy niece!
