MELBA LYNN CLARKSON was born on September 24th, 1958 to the parents of the late Frank T. Clarkson, Sr., and Barbara J. (Chambers) Clarkson in Louisville, Kentucky. She was little sister to Roger L. Clarkson (Decease) and big sister to Vivian, Diane (Decease), Frank, Jr., Jonathan, and Marie.
Melba obtained her education from Brandies Elementary, Parkland Junior High, Central High School, and Jefferson Community College in Louisville, KY.
Melba, career path was a cook for the City of Louisville Boys Haven Group Home and Lilly Restaurant until she took ill.
She was baptized early in life at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kentucky and was a member of St Benedict Catholic Church in the west end of Louisville, KY.
Melba, loved to crochet, knit, play cards, watching the University of Louisville basketball team play on TV, watching wrestling and going to wrestling event whenever they were in town in downtown Louisville, KY. Most of all she loved traveling to amusements parks and riding roller coasters and just hanging out with her family.
Melba also loved reading books of all kinds and read the Bible several times with great joy.
Melba was full of love and showed true compassion for everyone she came across. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and a heart of gold.
Melba has gone home to be with our Lord and God and may she forever rest in peace.
