Gloria accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Church of God in Christ.
She attended Victoria Public Elementary and Middle Schools. Her family moved to Houston, Texas in 1967 where she attended Booker T. Washington High School and graduated in 1971 from John H. Reagan (Houston Heights) High School.
Gloria had a fulfilling career in corporate travel for 36 years as a consultant and manager. She planned employee relocations and travel for corporations such as Sysco Foods, Baylor College of Medicine, Chevron Oil, Apple Inc. and many others. Her profession afforded her the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world for business and pleasure. She retired in 2020 to a fulfilling life of reading, jewelry crafts, tending to her many plants and shopping.
In her senior year of high school she met her love, Tim and for 51 years this duo has been inseparable. This was a loving caring marriage of two soulmates that only God could have created. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Thomas Paul Manning.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memory; husband Timothy Mack; sons, Damion (Houston, TX) and Chaz (Denver, CO); brother James Manning (Yvonne) Houston, TX, one aunt and uncle, four sister/brother-in-laws; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Gloria will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Tx 77494. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:30 AM, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Tx 77494. A graveside service will occur Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Forest Park Southwest Cemetery, 9040 FM 359, Richmond, TX 77494.
