Carrol was born on December 18, 1941, in Beaumont, Texas, to Carrol Stephens Aulbaugh and Ann (Antje) Visser Aulbaugh. Carrol graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont in 1960. He was captain of South Park's 1960 state championship basketball team. He attended Southern Methodist University and Lamar State University on a basketball scholarship and graduated in 1964 from Lamar with a BBA in Accounting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alicia and her daughter Maria Alicia Ortega.
He is also survived by his sister, Wanda Kelley; two sons: Todd S. Aulbaugh and his wife Maribel; and Trent S. Aulbaugh and his wife Pamela.
Carrol's grandchildren are: Todd II; Brittany Salinas and her husband Estevan; Angelica; Courtney, Erika; Jessika; Celeste; and Lily.
The majority of Carrol's Professional career was in health care finance having worked for four systems: Sisters of Charity- Houston; Sisters of Mercy- St. Louis; Memorial Hermann; and Baylor Scott & White- Dallas.
After retirement he volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul; Katy Christian Ministries and Katy Independent School District.
Carrol was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Katy.
A Visitation for Carrol will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 12:00pm- 1:00pm followed by a Mass at 1:00 pm at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road, Houston, TX 77056.
