Betty Moore was born April 1, 1932 in Brown County, Texas to Sidney and Helen Drybread. She graduated from Polytechnic High School Fort Worth Texas in 1949. On April 8, 1950 she married Wayne Moore and remained together for more than 70 years.
Betty led a full life with 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. With love for her family and church, she also had a great passion for the history of her family through the study of the family genealogy. This led to many trips researching her ancestry and became the beginning of Wayne and Betty’s love to travel including many cruises. Another great passion of Betty’s was painting. She became well known for her talent as an artist. While she painted many different things, her paintings of bluebonnet covered landscapes became her trademark.
Betty Moore was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Bonnie Blizzard. She leaves behind her loving husband Wayne Moore of Katy Texas; son Greg Moore and wife Benita of Livingston Texas, daughter Dana Moore and husband Bob Meyer of Katy Texas; grandchildren Tiffany Inbody and husband David of College Station Texas, Sara Meyer of Louisiana; Great grandchildren Daniel Inbody, Morgan Inbody, Matthew Inbody, Zane Dauzat, and Liam Dauzat.
Betty Moore was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Katy Texas and a member of the Art League of Fort Bend Texas.
