Angie was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on January 27, 1966, to Marsha Huebner and Roland Smith. She attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from Houston Community College. Her career as a radiological technician ended in 2013, when she found her life’s calling as a teacher and administrator at the College of Health Care Professions.
Outside of her professional career, she always found time for her family and others. She volunteered for a local rescue squad, served on the Board of Directors for her daughters’ swim teams, and supported them in their cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, and choir activities. Family has always been her top priority, followed closely by serving others. She always put the needs of others ahead of her own.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Ferguson; daughter, Lauren Ferguson and her partner, Josh Franzese; daughter, Delaney Ferguson; granddaughter, Aria Franzese; sister, Holly Menges; parents, Dick and Marsha Huebner and Roland and Margaret Smith; mother-in-law, Wanda Ferguson; sisters-in-law, Tarah Coffey (husband JR) and Tiffany Garrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
