The Jacksons were one of the first families I met when we joined Lakemont. Brother Jackson, Peggy and Arkansas immediately welcomed us as part of their family. They took an interest in our family and helped us with a few last items on our last day in Richmond before we moved. 
We look forward to joining Peggy and Arkansas when they welcome Brother Jackson back in the new world with the same love and hospitality he extended to everyone (John 11:24-26).

Then my wife and I had the privilege of getting to know him and the family when they settled in Texas. Such a blessing! Brother Jackson was one of the first to welcome me when we started going to the Lakemont Congregation. He instantly reminded me of all the faithful and loving congregation Elders and Servants I have come to love, respect and cherish in my life of service to Jehovah--my own father included. He is one of the faithful shepherds who, following the example of the Apostle Paul, "poured himself out like a drink offering," to care for us in the congregation. He always took time to encourage others even while enduring the pain and suffering of his illness with dignity and grace. I look forward to welcoming him in the new world the way he welcomed me--with a hug--and hear him laugh again. In the meantime, I know Jehovah will give you, his loving family, the comfort and strength you need to endure until you see Brother Jackson again.

For Alex love was more than just a thought, it was an act that showed the thought in his heart.
But it was not by accident that Alex was such a nice person to all with whom he interacted.
It was because he truly loved our God Jehovah and tried to imitate him in all he did.
We are all richer for having  shared with him the joy of service to Jehovah and we all will keep missing Alex until He calls, Alex answers, and we all enjoy paradise forever (Job 14:15)

Brother Jackson is one of the kindest and most generous man I’ve ever met in my life. He’s always had an open hand and an open heart. He’s always loved his wife and he loved his son and he’s always loved the congregation. But most of all it was clear he loved Jehovah and his son, Jesus Christ. We all look forward to seeing this wonderful, amazing  human being! All the pain and suffering he endured is truly unspeakable. But the Hope he held on too will make it like it never happen. My heart aches for my precious Peggy and I am so sad for Amin. I’m praying for them both daily. But I’m am happy my Friend is peacefully on his way to the new world... ❤️

I remember when Brother Jackson ,  Peggy and Arkansas first came to our congregation, (Lakemont) it was love at first sight. I can’t think of a more loving genuine family. Alex and Peggy had something really special between them there love is to be imitated. Alex was a true friend/brother I miss him greatly. There are so many memories of field service, hosting the delegates for the International Convention letter writing, dinners so many dinners...to much to list. I can’t wait to see him again!!!!💔

Jack was so dear to me. He always was so hospitable, making anyone who was in his presence feel special. I remember many times visiting you and Jack ...for meals and association, He would make sure we had enough food on our plates ..noone left your home hungry..We  so enjoyed spending time sharing stories..experiences ...and laughs.. i cherish  all the memories with my dear spiritual brother, you and Arkansas...He will be tremendously...missed ...by His family and all who had the privilege of knowing Him.  Soon we will be sharing new stories in the New World with Jack....John 5:28,29  Revelation  21:3,4

That old man was my buddy.  There wasn't anything that I  couldn't say to him and he couldn't say to me.  Because we understood it was all out of love.  One Sunday we went to Lubys.  Peggy turned to us and said; "Please guys, do not fight...no fighting.  He started mouthing off in a whisper, saying he was going to make me sit in the car while they were eating.  Well, I wasn't having it.  So I stepped on his shoes (Because he loved his shoes). He started dipping and dodging.  All the while we were looking at Peggy.  When she turned around we were all smiles.  One Sunday, he had an Elder's meeting and we were waiting for him.  When he got in the car, he said something sassy.  I jumped out of the car, all the while saying; " I am tired of this old man always picking on me." He jumped out of the car and we met behind the car, and was just swinging at the air.  We were glad to get back in that car and sit down.  We were so tired.  We did not talk the whole time they were taking me home, we were so tired.  Imagine two old people swinging at the air.  There were more funny incidents like those two, but if I told all of them, there wouldn't be room for anybody else. We kept Peggy laughing.  I am going to miss him something awful.  Every time I look at Peggy and Arkansas, I will see him in them, because they came as a package.  You took the whole package or you didn't get anything.  I cannot wait to see him in the New World.  Peggy and Arkansas, thank you for sharing him with me.  Thank you for sharing him others.  Nobody will miss him as much as the two of you.  But we will miss him too.  THE OLD WOMAN.

So many happy times & wonderful memories!!! Brother Jackson was one of the few who there for me when my dad died. He patiently studied with me despite how much I did not pay attention back then. Although in my life a very brief time he had a big impact.

It has been our privilege to have been able to meet and become friends with you all. Bro Jackson was truly loved by us all. He was always ready to give a listening ear and a nice warm hug. There are many memories that although they may be painful to recall at the moment, will be a source of comfort for you soon enough. I can’t wait to see what new memories we will be able to make with him as Jehovah calls him out of his sleep. Young, strong and healthy he shall be. Wow! What a magnificent sight that would be. To hear his voice and his witty comebacks will once again bring such joy to your heart and ours. His wife Peggy (Moms), my brother Amin and Pops are the nicest and most caring people anyone could ever meet. I called Pops, "Champ" for many reasons. I looked at him as a father and a real friend. I can only echo what many others have said about Alex.  Alex was a very loved brother by both me and my family and many others. I can and will never forget the Love  my Brother showed when we 1st met! From that moment it was as if we had know each other forever! I am very saddened by this news but I know he holds a special place in Jehovah's memory and most definitely know he will be reunited with many when the resurrection takes place in Paradise. He encouraged me many times and gave me Bible counsel when I did not know what to do next when I faced hardships. All I knew to do was pray and Jehovah sent him and another brother to be there for encouragement with Bible scriptures. He was a very strong man during his illness and he was definitely an encouragement for me and reminded me that if he could show up for weekly worship that I could to. I really thought I would get to see him again once the pandemic had settled. But I'm glad to have been part of the prayer that was given by a brother in the congregation for him the night he past. I look forward to seeing him in Paradise. He will be missed. ❤

My spiritual brother (more a spiritual father) will be deeply missed.  Our family benefited from the warm Christian love that was a hallmark of Alex.  In many ways and at many times he provided a very good example of how to love the brothers.  This made the Truth come to life for me.  I will miss spending time enjoying conversation where Peggy is sharing and Jack is in the background humorously embellishing details on what she was sharing.   I am sure that all who are close to the Jacksons had similar experiences.   Peggy and Meeno please know that you are deeply loved.  We hurt for you and grieve alone side you for we love him.  Oh how we look forward to the fulfillment of Jehovah's promises.
