On September 29, 1992, in Karachi, Pakistan, Abnar George was born to Aftab George and Riaz Aftab. Abnar was a curious and joyful child. He loved to get into mischief with his brother, Henery George, and follow around his sister, Amy George. He was three years old when he and his family moved to Bahrain in 1995. He did most of his schooling there. His favorite activities included running and gaming on his PlayStation. When he was 15, his family moved to the United States and lived in Spokane, Washington. He started his sophomore year at Gonzaga Preparatory School. He received a scholarship from the mayor of Spokane for his outstanding cross-country achievements. He was a good student and excelled in every course. He graduated in June 2012 and headed off to Fort Jackson in North Carolina to start basic training for the US Army. During his active duty, he and his sister were stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. After seven years of service, he was honorably discharged and resided in Katy, Texas, with his sister and brother-in-law, Felton. He loved being around his friends and playing pool. All his battle buddies, friends, and family loved him so much. He was a very generous, caring, and kind person. He always made sure his family was cared for. He would do anything for his friends and ask for nothing in return. He had an infectious laugh and was always smiling and joking around. It took only one time to see him, and one could never forget him. He could leave a beautiful mark on anyone's heart and mind. He left us too soon, but heartstrings always connect those we love and lose to infinity!
A visitation for Abnar will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Texas 77494.
