William E. Kahl, Jr., age 81, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away July 29th, 2011 at Kingswood Manor Health Center. Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1111 W. Foxwood Dr, Raymore, MO, Saturday, August 6th from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Memorial services will be held immediately following. Contributions may be made out to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church or The Alzheimer’s Association. William was born on July 11th, 1930 near Windsor, Missouri to William E. Kahl, Sr. and Mame Bowers. After high school William joined the U.S. Air Force where he served in the Korean War. William retired from the Air Force after 43 years of service. William married Betty Oosterhuis in 1958. He is survived by his wife Betty; sons, Mark Kahl and wife Joanie and Paul Kahl; grandchildren, Cassi, Paul, Jordan, Mya and Diem.
