Virginia Louise Evans

Virginia Louise Evans, 92, passed away April 10, 2016. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Floral Hills. Burial will follow. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the chapel. Virginia was born October 4, 1923, in Salisbury, MO, to Rube and Bernice Ehrhardt. She attended Central College in Fayette, MO. She worked at National Bank and Trust Company in Kansas City. Virginia stayed home to raise her family. Virginia’s life was dedicated to two purposes, her strong Christian faith and her family. Virginia was known for her easy going attitude and how she considered each day a blessing from God. The worst circumstances didn’t seem to strain Virginia’s positive outlook on life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Hobert Winford “Bill” Evans; siblings: John Ehrhardt and Doris Biggs; son-in-law: Robert H. Affolter IV; grandson: Kevin Paul Edmondson. Those left to cherish her memory include her children and their spouses: Patricia and Alan Raistrick; Paul and Hazael Evans; and Lisa and William Daugherty: 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
