Tom was born in Boston Massachusetts to Carl and Agnes (Hall) Neff on Jan 14, 1950. He married Linda (Hunley Brown) on March 17,1983.
Tom graduated from Bishop Ward High School and later majored in education at Emporia State. He resided in the Kansas City and Ottawa areas throughout his life. He sold insurance, taught school, painted houses and finally was forced by cancer to retire as a postal carrier.
Tom's passion, however, was his love for the Lord. Because God so loved Tom that He sent His only Son to die for him, Tom spent his life loving God in faithful obedience; Imperfectly pursuing holiness before His loving Father, one step, one day at a time. Either through his words or his actions or both, Tom witnessed to the redemptive, unfailing love of His Heavenly Father.
Tom loved people and used whatever opportunity he was provided to witness to God's love for them. He' ministered to those suffering from cancer, he encouraged young couples to strong marriages and rooted families of faith. He volunteered for many activities and organizations. Hope House of Ottawa, a non-profit Christian emergency relief organization was dear to him. His heart was called to children & babies, and so he worked tirelessly for LifeCare Center for Women of Ottawa, a crisis pregnancy center.
Tom stands complete before his Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Agnes Neff; brother, Ronnie Neff; sister, Donna Geschwind and grandparents, Andy B & Stella Neff and Alexander & Bertha Hall.
