Timothy J. Plank, 62, of Overland Park, KS passed away June 2, 2022 at The Heritages of Overland Park. The Rosary will be prayed Wednesday, June 8 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th St., Leawood, KS followed by a livestreamed Mass of Christian Burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Knights of Nativity are requested.
Tim was born in Ohio and graduated from Piqua Central in 1978. He attended the Church of Nativity in Leawood where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and led the annual Fall Festival for many years. Tim retired from Standard Motor Products where he worked as an account executive for 39 years.
He was involved for many years helping lead mission trips to Guatemala. Tim was on the Patron committee for Catholic Charities for the annual Snowball. He rang Bells for Salvation Army for many many years. He was a generous and loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed. His parents, Mary Jane and Donald Plank, preceded Tim in death.
Survivors include his two children, Jamie Cernich and Jack Plank; four sisters, Kathy DeBrosse, Laurie Plank, Julie Pischulla and Patti Brown.
