THOMAS RUSSELL LYNCH Thomas Russell Lynch, 87, of Kansas City, MO, passed away November 12, 2014. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Friday, November 21, 2014, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64138. Tom was born January 30, 1927, in Kansas City, to Frank and Ruth Lynch. He graduated from Northeast High School before enlisting in the United States Armed Forces. After his honorable discharge he attended business college, and soon began working at Bendix (now Honeywell) until his retirement. During those early years he met and married Betty in 1951. Tom was a quiet and gentle man who enjoyed many interests and hobbies throughout his life. He was an amateur photographer, computer programmer, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He kept his mind and body strong with a daily regimen of crossword puzzles and exercise. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Betty; his daughter, Nancy; siblings: Frank Jr, Paul, James, William, Mary Louise and Jane. Survivors include his daughter, Debra Lynch; siblings: Robert Lynch and Helen Noggle; granddaughter: Amber Lynch.
