Sherri Eileen (Arndt) Stewart passed away from complications of pneumonia on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at St. Luke’s East Hospital with her husband and daughter by her side. Sherri was an amazing wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.
Sherri was born in Kansas City, MO on July 26, 1956 to parents Robert Eugene Arndt & Buddie Grace Arndt. She graduated from Raytown South Highschool & enlisted in the Air Force where she served 9 years. During that time, she married Michael Randles and had their daughter Sabrina while stationed in Germany. She raised her daughter on her own for many years.
While attending a “Parents Without Partners” meeting she met and fell in love with William Stewart. They were married on June 11, 1994. Sherri worked for St. Mary’s Hospital for 25 years. She worked her way up becoming the head of the billing department of St. Mary’s & St. Joseph Hospital. Recently she was employed by Lincare as a billing technician. Bill & Sherri enjoyed a life in Blue Springs together raising both Sabrina and Courtnee. Sherri loved to fish, cooking, shopping for antiques, watching Law & Order: SVU, and spending time with her grandchildren. She baked & decorated her grandchildren’s birthday cakes every year. She would be sure to ask them months in advance what their order would be and she never hesitated to make sure they got what they wanted.

She is survived by her husband William; her daughter Sabrina Pacheco, (Nicholas); Step-Daughter Courtnee Williams, who presides in Arizona; her grandchildren McKenzie, Sophia, Edward, Norah, Christopher, Brooklyn, & Darian; Step-Mother Elke Arndt; and sister’s Melanie Horrell, Jennifer Arndt, Juliet Arndt, and brother John Rowe.
