Sarah "Sally" Eagan Euston

Sarah "Sally" Eagan Euston, 65, of Kansas City, MO. passed away peacefully Thursday, July 7, 2016. She was surrounded by her husband, five children, and two of her sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Monday, July 11th at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, July 10th from 1pm to 4pm at St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Sally was born on February 18, 1951 to Mr. Charles R. Eagan and Georgianna M. (Donovan) Eagan. Sally attended Redemptorist Catholic School and graduated from St. Theresa's Academy in 1969.

Sally devoted her heart and soul to her family, friends, and the St. Peter's Community where she dedicated 27 years of her life as the school's secretary. Secretary was not a big enough title as many have said that Sally "was" St. Peter's. She loved all of the children at St. Peter's School and treated them all as if they were her own. Sally was completely selfless and had a thirst for life, which was contagious and infected everyone around her.

Sally also made sure she had the time of her life with everything she did. Whether it be a poker game with her beloved Poker Sisters or sitting on the deck with her husband "popping tops" and listening to Motown, she always had fun and wore a smile on her face. Her Irish heart will live on through all of her family and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by: Charles R. Eagan (father), Georgianna M. Eagan (mother), M. Kenneth Euston (father-in-law), Mary Ann Euston (mother-in-law), Michael E. Eagan (brother), Michael C. Eagan (nephew), and Brian Euston (nephew).

She is survived by her husband, Tom Euston; her five children, Tommy (Sarah) Euston, Molly (Daniel) Reardon, Tim (Cristin) Euston, Terry Euston, and Maggie Euston; her six grandchildren: Anthony, Sarah, Trey, Mary, Kellen, and Charlie; and her four siblings, Tim (Rose) Eagan, Nancy (Bob) Comiskey, Sue (Mark) Ohlendorf, and Kathy (Carl) Covell.
