Ruben McCullers, 61, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away October 11, 2012, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. Ruben was born in Lineville, Alabama, first of four children. He graduated from Lineville High School in 1969 and attended Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (Zoology) in 1973. After two years in Peace Corps/Iran he moved to Kansas City in 1978 where he was employed by the Environmental Protection Agency as an environmental scientist for 37 years until his retirement earlier this month. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Linda Corben McCullers of Kansas City, Missouri; his sisters Betty Wester and Kathy Ingram, as well as ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine McCullers, his father Joe McCullers, and his sister Martha McCullers. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, at Mt.
