Roy J. Mitchell Jr.

Roy J. Mitchell, Jr., 85 of Independence, MO passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Roy was an U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Villages of Jackson Creek Memory Care Center for the compassionate care given to Roy. Also, thank you to the priests and the parish community at St. Mark’s Church. Roy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha of the home; four children; two brothers and three grandchildren.
